Zest is an exploration of sensuality and touch. A glimpse of the sensual world is glimpsed though the suspended letterbox like forms that move and sway as we walk around them.

Uni seems like a world away. I remember it was a time of thought, reflection and an understanding of my inner-self. It was like our own little world filled with like-minded people on a journey of discovery. It really helped me understand my thoughts; teaching me a way to express them. I went to uni not really knowing what I was going to do in the world. When I finished, I had a path to follow.
After uni I was employed as a commercial photographer in Sydney. I continued studying part-time while working. I now also have a Diploma in Photography from TAFE as well as a Certificate III in Ceramics.
After working for someone for ten years, I started my own commercial photography studio, Clear View Imaging, which now has been running for twenty years.
After uni, I also continued to explore my creative side in many group exhibitions around Sydney. I always exhibited photographic works that deal primarily with the human form.
In 2005 I was a finalist in the former Photographic Portrait Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW (like the Archibald Prize but for photography). The shortlisted work was called Emerging from the past, a portrait of Australian swimmer Duncan Armstrong OAM.
In 2010 I was a finalist in Head ON at the Australian Centre for Photography with the work Fiona. This work was about dealing with being stuck in everyday life.
After completing my Ceramics certificate I have loved working with clay as a sculptural extension of my practice. Working with clay is such a therapy.
Today continue to work as a commercial photographer shooting advertising, products and portraits, while working on my sculptural practice part-time.
